1. Export Workbench table in different Units of measure
You can now view the Workbench table data as different units of measure and export this view directly through UI.
This negates the effort you need to put in to manually calculate the quantities in different units. Simply toggle UoM in the top left hand side filters and click export!
2. New Product and Discontinued Product Management
The new Portfolio Management tab provides a way for you to manage new product launches and discontinued products.
New Product Launch:
The New Product Introduction tab allows you to configure the initial forecasts when a new product code is launched which is not a successor to an already existing item.
You can control product forecast profile at either a granular level or a higher level of Customer-Location hierarchy. Or sync it up to a similar product for the system to model its forecast after.
Additionally, you can also control the pipe fill period and avoid including the initial surge of volume during this period into your forecast. Thereby, ensuring you have a more stable forecast.
Discontinued Product:
The Discontinuation tab allows you to configure the forecasts when a product code is discontinued.
You can either set up the profile manually at any Customer-Location hierarchy for the Item or simply enter the ramp down period for the system to auto calculate the profile for you.
You can also control what products receive a forecast by using a special indicator to signal if a product is active or not, ensuring you are always in control of what products receive a forecast even when there isn’t a portfolio management profile set up.
3. Adjustments at any level
You can now make an adjustment at any level of the product-customer-location hierarchy. What this means is that you no longer need to drill down to the level of forecasting (GFU) each time you make an adjustment.
The engine will automatically distribute the values to the lower levels based on disaggregation method chosen.
You are in complete control of the level you would like to make an adjustment on, and how you would like that volume distributed to the lower levels.
You no longer need to adjust one cell at a time because we now support bulk adjustment through upload. Simply import your file with the adjustments at any level through the UI.
4. Read-only Event Master
Event Master editing can now be controlled through configuration. Admin users can now choose whether you want to create additional Master Events through UI or make them read-only.
This makes it easier for your team to set up one set of Master Events, control how Master Events are created and reduce duplicate Master Event creation.
5. Sort filter hierarchies on UI
The filters and order in which filter hierarchies appear on the screen are now configurable.
You could bring in only filter hierarchies that deliver the most value onto the UI and order them in a way that makes most sense to your team.
6. New Event types
You can use four new event types:
None - to resolve an exception
Distribution Change, Target/Gap Fill, Competitor Activities- To resolve an exception or make an adjustment.
None lets you resolve an exception either completely or partially without attaching a specific reason to the resolution.
Distribution Change lets you tag an exception or adjustment that are based on change in Distribution network without creating an event.
Target/ Gap Fill can be used to tag exceptions or adjustments and create an event for overrides to achieve certain sales targets or budget numbers, while Competitor Activities can be used to make adjustments related to change in demand as a result of Competitor activities
7. Exception Monitor Updates
We have made it possible for you to sync the exceptions you see in the Exception Monitor Tray with the filters on the Workbench ensuring you have the same set of exception on both and help you resolve them faster.
Also, on exception screen you can now see the Product, Customer and Location hierarchies so you will always have the context of the exception you are viewing.
8. Engine
Order consumption: You can now view the forecast on workbench that considers unfulfilled orders for forecast calculation making the forecast more reliable.
Other smaller Updates
Baseline and Trend: We have made changes to Baseline and Trend calculations to make the graph more readable. Baseline+ Trend now form the new Baseline in the past and all the components are now anchored to Trend in the future.
Filter value ordering: We have made using filters easier by sorting the values within filter dropdowns in ascending order and having the relevant and selected values always on top.
Dates: New date component on all screens to help navigate date ranges better.

Blended Model
user can now enter validity dates for events in the event library UI. - this means that the garvis engine will not utilize the event before and after the validity dates - both for forecasting and pattern analysis. This will ensure total forecast volumes are consistent throughout the forecast horizon. -
Engine updates include optimizations for speed, more models, improved method for best model selection
